This summer, we want to impact our kids and reach out into the community with the gospel in a unique way!

While VBS has always been a highlight of our summer, this summer we'll be doing something a little different — we'll have
three free outdoor summer events, each including a special presentation of the gospel. We’re excited about this opportunity to reach kids and families in Traverse City!

What better way to cool off in the summer than a day filled with water fun? We’ll have a slip n’ slide, dunk tank, water balloons, and everything in between — and stick around for an amazing storytime at the end.

No swimsuits please! Wear light clothing and bring a towel.

Have you ever met a yak before? Now you can! Grab the whole family as East Bay hosts a barnyard of yaks, sheep, and more furry friends, all infused with gospel-centered learning.

Saturday, August 21
Whole family

*Parents are strongly encouraged to remain with their preschoolers. If this is not possible, please indicate so at registration.

What about
VBS?

Not to fear, Vacation Bible School will return next year! We have chosen to hold Summer Days this year and are excited about these unique events, but if you still have questions please feel free to contact a pastor.

Are these family events?

The Palooza and the Splashdown are geared towards kids, but parents are welcome.

The Barnyard, however, is specifically intended as a family event, so grab the whole fam!

Will there be biblical teaching?

Yes! Your child's walk with God and outreach into our community are important to us. The gospel will be presented in a dynamic way at each event, with a unique tie-in to the activities of the day.

What about
food?

The Palooza will have free cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones. Pizza will be available for purchase at the Splashdown, and hotdogs will be available for purchase at the Barnyard.
