This group of senior adults recognizes that life’s best years are always
ahead. They are a close-knit group who are committed to careful Bible study and
upholding one another in prayer and Christian love. They are an active group

loving care for each other through the ups and downs of life.
What are ABFs?
ABFs provide a warm and casual environment to meet people and
form relationships. These midsize groups of 15-50 people function more like
“adult youth groups” as they participate together in a variety of group
activities. Weekly meetings include casual fellowships around coffee and snacks,
group announcements, a prayer and share time, testimonies and usually lots of
laughter. Active learning through interactive Bible teaching is a core element
of a group meeting. Groups also do outside social activities and service
projects.
As you consider what group(s) you might want to visit,
understand that these communities organize as life stage and generational
communities. Group descriptions are only guidelines. If you sense a connection
to any particular group then go for it and find a place to belong at East Bay
Calvary Church.
Some groups provide another level of relationship building
through small groups throughout the week. These groups consist of
couples/singles and are called Life Groups. If you are interested, just ask your
ABF leader for more information.
